Empowering today's youth for tomorrow

LEAD. LOVE. SAVE. SERVE.

The program for the Institute draws inspiration from our faculty member Dr. Cornel West’s definition of leadership: “You can’t lead the people, if you don’t love the people and you can’t save the people if you won’t serve the people.” The plenary sessions and workshops are designed to help young people develop individually as leaders and then apply their new skills and talents and impact their community and our world in a positive way. We believe leaders who are confident, strong and caring have the capacity to love and serve others. We want young people to know that there is joy in giving back.
